Mainbrace Navy Strength Rum has won silver at the Taste Of The West Awards 2023, with Mainbrace Cornish Dry Gin and Premium Golden Rum winning commended awards.

Our Navy Strength Rum has an ABV of 54.5%, which is consistent with the Royal Navy Standard. This was the lowest alcohol content that would still allow gunpowder to light if it was soaked in the rum. You can expect notes of sweet woody aromas that eventually subside to dried fruits and caramel. The palate has an initial peppery spice that quickly becomes naturally sweet treacle notes with a hint of spiced vanilla.
